Londonderry Linen Threads Also chosen for their natural-dye appearance, these wet-spun linen threads are excellent for a variety of embellishment endeavors including card-weaving. Wonderful for plain-sewing, as well. Note regarding machine use: I've tried the #80 in my sewing machine and while it's not quite smooth enough to slip easily through the needle eye and thus has a tendency to shred, I need to do some experimenting using a topstitch needle (doh!) before making a final decision. I'll keep you posted.....
