Got a pair of needle-nose pliers handy? Turn any four buttons (with large enough shanks) into a set of cuff links!

Please specify nickel or gold finish.
Garters Dritz Detachable "Hose Grips" These are great if you're doing 1900s work (or fantasy work!) whether they're attached to a corset or a garter belt. Available in white only, the rubber part will take dye in a half-shade so at least they won't be glaringly white if you need something else.... (The metal part is nickel-finish and doesn't take dye.)

When laundering by machine, remember to either remove the clips or close them so as to prevent damage to anything in that load. Using a mesh wash bag is recommended.
$1.80/pack of 4 (2 pair)
Shoe Clips steel

gold-finish

nickel-finish
Remember these from the 1940s & '50s? They still come in handy for turning a pair of "make-do" shoes into "the perfect pair"! Add a rosette to a pair of plain low-heel pumps? Voila! A pair of exquisite 1600s shoes.... Works for many different style (or era) changes. What are you trying for?

To use, sew the decoration to the 'outside' of half 'A' and then clip onto shoe vamp. Side 'B' will be on the inside. Click the pic for a fuller view, scale, and both colors.
