Block print 2053-a

These 46" wide, vegetable-dye, hand-block-printed patterns are on high-quality, all cotton fabric. As with any hand-made product, there are imperfections. Please accept them as the mark of the craftsperson and the true evidence of hand-printing.
The color palette used in this collection was slate blue, brown-black, grey-green, light taupe, light tans, medium mustard-gold, and darker mustard-brown. Not every color was used on every pattern and some subtle shades were obtained by overstamping.
The white-based prints are on a half-bleached, undyed ground, the tan-based prints on the same half-bleach that's then been dip-dyed for the ground color. The print-colors were applied by stamping, not roller-work.
All these are exceptionally good for 1700s whether for women's or children's day wear, men's waistcoats or lining men's wear, or for 'home decor' (camp decor?).
Some of these are also good for medieval & renaissance 'home/camp decor' uses or lining fabrics, notably...
